Born on November 13, 1977, Illy Ive starting writing lyrics at the age of 11. His writing skills would improve as he matured and at age 18 found himself recording and performing tracks with music producers in the Los Angeles area.
At nineteen Illy Ive began to invest in his own music productions, purchasing a Trinity keyboard to begin work on a demo. He joined a group called R.I.D.E.L.Z. a three (3) member group that Illy Ive was the trackmaster. After the groups breakup Illy Ive would then become a solo rap artist. Focusing his time and resources on his own project. The plan was to get eight (8) songs together and shop for a deal.
Creatively, Illy Ive says you could describe him as a mixture of L.L. Cool J and Tupac Shakur. His style and message are similar to both artist. In Illy Ives music you will hear his messages from the soft and hardcore side. He wants to know how he feels about life. If not the whole world, maybe about 10 million record buying people who can relate to what he is trying to convey in a particular song.
An artist who is prepared to pursue his career to the fullest. He is looking beyond the fortune that comes with being a successful recording artist. He chooses to focus on the opportunity, work with positive and talented people in the industry and produce the best music possible.
